Tree Planting With Schools In Ghana
Form Ghana engages in a treeplanting and education program with Ghana schools during May and June 2016.
Form Ghana's development team (Mariam Awuni, Esther Addai & Isaac Wayo Tetteh) assisted Accra schools in planting trees to create awareness and greening Ghana. They visited six schools to deliver indigenous tree seedlings and educate the pupils on the environment, the effects of deforestation and show them how to plant trees. More than 1300 students from the six schools (Dzorwulu JHS, Abelempke Basic School, Abelempke 1 Primary and JHS, Bolinas academy, Multi Kids Academy & Redeemer Preparatory School) participated in the project.
Form Ghana will extend this program to schools in the Berekum (Brong Ahafo) and Akumadan (Ashanti) areas, which are closer to the Form Ghana Plantations.
