Management

Paul Hol is owner and Executive Director of FORM International and a senior forestry advisor, specialised in Sustainable Forest Management, forestry investments, reforestation and forest certification. Paul was involved in setting up the forest certification standards from the beginning.

Consultants

Rik Sools
holds a MSc degree and is specialized in Forest Ecology and Management. Rik works on the preparation and implementation of projects related to forest certification, forest management planning, forest restoration, forest valuation and agroforestry. Many of his current activities are concentrated in Ghana, such as the allanblackia project.

Mans Vroom has more than 35 years of experience as a manager in forest management in West- and Central Africa and in South America. He has lived and worked in Ghana for 18 years and is one of the key players in establishing and developing FORM Ghana. He is specialized in Reduced Impact Logging and Sustainable Forest Management.

Petra Westerlaan studied Biology in Utrecht and holds a MSc. Degree Ecology & Natural Resources Management. At Tropenbos Ghana she did her final research project on factors for long-term success of the modified taungya system, a forest plantation development system which involves a cooperation between local farmers and the government. Currently, she is working on a certification project in the Congo-Basin.

Tieme Wanders holds a MSc degree on Tropical Forestry with the main subjects: Forest Ecology and Management and Restoration Forestry. Tieme is experienced in sustainable forest management projects and the stakeholder processes that accompany the procedure of setting up a forest management certification. Tieme is also qualified FSC lead auditor and a member of the Dutch Timber Procurement Assessment Committee.

Remi de Wilde holds a MSc Sustainable Development from Utrecht University and specializes in Sustainable Forest Management and Reforestation. He has working experience in Indonesia, South Africa and Ghana. Remi is currently focusing on certification. He advises organizations to become FSC and PEFC certified and is qualified FSC Lead Auditor in Forest Management and Chain of Custody. Remi further conducts PEFC conformity assessments and is working on Carbon Credit certification.

MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT

Karin Onderberg is in charge of the financial and administrative support to the management. She is also responsible for the human resource management.
